On one of Ainsley's trip to America's Hometown this summer, she planted flowers with Gramma Mac and brought them home with her. I have no idea how these flowers are still alive because I will never be known as having a 'green thumb'.
They have had some rough looking days when we've forgotten to water them for a day (or three)... but so far we have managed to keep them alive. And last week, we met a new friend.
In the evening when we are out front playing and watering, he (or she) has come to hang out with us. At first, we thought it was a hummingbird, but after a quick Google search, we now think it's a hummingbird moth.
One would think that the five members of the Brunner Circus would scare it off, but it's not afraid and stays unusually close to us.
