Daddy Daughter Dance 2013

 Pick girls up from school.
Come straight home.
Quick snack.
Spent ten minutes putting girls in tights.
Ali tried on two other dresses before she decided to wear the black dress.
All three girls brushed their teeth.
Ainsley got toothpaste in her hair.
 Brushed out toothpaste.
Dug for a mini-crown for our littlest princess.
Ainsley's hair curled.
Ali's turn.
Put her hair in a bun.
Gave myself a hi-five because I can still rock the dance bun.
Broke up an earring fight.
935 pairs of earrings in this house and they both wanted to wear the same pair.
Ali let Addi wear the earrings they were fighting over, but only after I dug out a pair of my earrings for Ali to wear.
How did we get to this stage of life already?  Where I'm sharing earrings with my girls?

Checked on how much time we had left.
Told Addi I would curl her hair, but it would have to be fast.
Curled. And curled. And curled.
Burned my hand once.
Sprayed everyone's hair one more time.
Lip gloss applied.
More lip gloss applied by the youngest who thinks lip gloss is like chocolate...the more the better.
Sat them down for a few pictures.
No one would pay attention.
Threatened that they wouldn't have time to go to Red Robin if they didn't knock it off.
Pictures.
One last potty break.
Coats.
Loaded into the momobile.
I wave to them as they drive away.
I sit down and catch my breath.
 Bug Agnes.
Call my dinner order in.
Bug Agnes more.
Go pick up dinner.  And maybe dessert.
Home. Eat. Edit pictures.
Blog.
Addi wrote in her school journal today that she promises to keep her eyes on Ainsley tonight so they don't lose her like last year.
Ha!
