Snow Not Cool

The girls went back to school yesterday.
I was afraid that Ainsley and I would be bored and wouldn't know what to do without the constant bickering that goes on when all 3 are home at the same time.... Ha!
We needed to run an errand across town, and then headed out to the mall to use a Christmas gift card from my in-loves that was just burning a hole in my pocket.
We had just enough time to come home and put my new goodies away and then go pick up the girls from school.  It was beautiful out, so after a quick snack, we headed outside to make a snowman.
And by 'we' you all know that I did all the grunt work (rolling the snow balls, heaving them on top of each other to form the snowman, digging through totes the basement for the snowman kit) and the girls did the fun work (adding the eyes, mouth, etc).  Just want to make sure we are all clear on this.
I am also the only one that doesn't have a pair of snowpants, and my legs about froze off.
I should really let my boss know that I won't be able to work under these conditions for much longer....

 That's where the fun ended.
When I left for the gym this morning, I glanced over to where our snowman and snowdogs should have been... only to see small clumps of snow.
Sadly, at some point during the night, someone kicked in our new friends.

I was ticked off all morning, mostly because I was going to have to tell the girls, they were obviously going to see it, and it really just sucks (for lack of a better word) when they spent time working on something just for someone to ruin it for no good reason.

Ainsley is always the first one up, and when I told her what happened this is what she said...

"Him's needs to say he is sorry.  And him's needs to keep his feet to himself.''
(And by him's, she is just referring to whoever did this, girl or boy).
On the way to school this morning, we did notice that ours wasn't the only snowman kicked in... someone(s) must have been out walking and had some snowman aggression issues last night.

It's supposed to be nice again this afternoon, so we've decided we'll head back outside and re-make our snowman.  Not sure if we'll be brave and go out front again, or head to the backyard where he might be safer.  Although, there is a higher chance that we go in the backyard, he will be attacked by our T-Rex.
Sad faces...

Build another. Keep the coffee hot, I'll stand vigil throughout the night. I have a shotgun that's pretty loud when I pump it. They'll never come around your place again
